Core vs lifestyle
Core vaccines protect against diseases that are dangerous and widespread — every dog needs them. Lifestyle vaccines depend on where your dog goes and who they meet.
The core vaccines

Rabies vaccination is mandatory across the UAE and is the one most travel and boarding facilities will ask to see.
Puppy timeline
- 6–8 weeks: first DHPP.
- 10–12 weeks: second DHPP.
- 12+ weeks: rabies, then the final puppy booster.
Keep the physical vaccination card — boarding, grooming and travel will all ask for it, and a gap can mean restarting a course.
Staying on track
- Set a calendar reminder a month before each booster is due.
- Photograph the vaccination card and store it with your pet's records.
- Book the rabies booster well before any planned travel.
